Orkney will be centre stage for youth voice this weekend, when 100 MSYPs and their support workers gather for the 79th Scottish Youth Parliament sitting, at Kirkwall Grammar School – in the midst of the nomination period for the next Parliament.

Following a successful short-term lets licensing information day focusing on the application process, it’s planned to hold another one!

This time we are asking folk to book a 20-minute slot beforehand so that no-one has to wait to see a Licensing Officer.

A spate of alleged anti-social behaviour involving young people at OIC facilities has been reported to Kirkwall Police.
