Surface dressing continues tomorrow (Saturday 7 July) in Holm, on the road from Hurtiso to Warthill, where short signed diversions will be in place.

A century of tradition has come to an end inside Kirkwall’s St Magnus Cathedral with the cathedral clock having been wound by hand for the very last time (Thursday 5 July).

Surface dressing will begin tomorrow (Friday 6 July) in South Ronaldsay, on a small side road around half a mile from St Margaret’s Hope.

Surface dressing work will resume on Monday (2 July) on the main road in Evie (the A966 from the 30mph sign at the cemetery to the Old Evie School). The road will be closed in both directions.
